Tori Dismuke Eudy/Licensed Professional Counselor supervisor

Since I was a child, I knew I wanted to make a difference in peoples lives, and share God’s love. I’ve worked my entire life to create an abundant life for the people around me.Hello! I’m Tori, Dismuke Eudy,, MA, licensed, professional, counselor, supervisor, a certified life, coach, and Sandplay practitioner located in Garland Texas.

I’ve created Hope Haven to provide A convenient and accessible life-changing online psychotherapy experience for you. Here, you have a safe place to talk and explore your options wherever you go. I’d like to help you become your best self. I am gifted and helping people who are hurting from trauma.

Trauma comes in many forms. One experience is no less life altering than another. If your experiences are too much to face alone, then counseling may benefit you. Rebuilding your life, after pain, takes time. Let me help you. Most of my clients have survived some sort of traumatic event or relationship. They felt lost and needed to feel safe and empowered. My clients often say that working with me is comforting and profound as dive deep and talk about life. Together we will discover your options and find your best solutions for living the life you’ve only dreamed of living.

You can let go if you’re paying and pass struggles. You won’t need them anymore. You’re heading into a new direction. I’m here to guide you along your way, with compassion and honesty that is grounded and Christian values. God has created you in his image. Despite what everyone around you may say, you are enough just as you are.

Kelvin Davis, Jr/licensed professional counselor associate

I  am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate. I graduated from Texas A&M University-Commerce with a master of science in clinical mental health counseling and will be under the supervision of  Tori Dismuke Eudy, LPC-S.

I have been interested in the mental health profession since a therapist came to my senior class to give a speech. I was intrigued by what the therapist had to say. Leaving high school, I entered the  University of  North Texas with aspirations of becoming a psychologist. When I was eligible to take on a  minor, the school offered counseling for the first time. When I took a few classes for my minor, my focus changed from wanting to be a psychologist to a licensed professional counselor.

I  graduated from UNT with a bachelor’s in psychology with a minor in counseling. I  was accepted into UNT’s CACREP Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate program. I enjoyed being a part of the graduate program. While at UNT, I was also a part of a counseling organization called Counseling for Social Justice(CSJ). The CSJ is an advocacy organization that teaches its participants how to properly advocate for marginalized communities and help bring awareness to their daily struggles. This deeply impacted me. However, I struggled with what was expected of me as a student in the program. This discrepancy resulted in my dismissal from the program. I felt lost when I was removed from the program. But, with the help of my family and my then mentor,  Mia Oller, I was able to reconnect with my passion for counseling. With this passion reignited, it led me to reapply and become accepted into Texas A&M University-Commerce graduate program.

I want to use the knowledge I have gained, throughout my academic career, to help advocate for people of color, women, people who struggle with disabilities, and people with low SES, to name a few.

I am interested in working with couples, families, and individuals in this profession. I want to work with the African-American Communities and be on the front lines to help de-stigmatize and close the gap between the African-American community and the mental health profession. I also will work with other communities as well. I want to approach all communities using a combination of Person-Centered counseling and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am happy that I discovered my passion for counseling. I will continue to put in a lot of effort as I continue learning and achieving success in this field. My main aim is to assist my clients in achieving their goals and personal development.
